December 4th COSMIC Virtual Convergence

There is still time to join COSMIC before the 2024 Virtual Convergence on December 4th. If you are interested in learning more about 2024 accomplishments, collaboration, and product developments, as well as getting engaged for 2025, now is the best time to join.

COSMIC Community Briefings

Tuesday, November 19th at 1pm ET / 10am PT will be a Missions and Ecosystems Focus Area Briefing entitled “ISS Recycling Consortium”, presented by Greg Vialle of Lunexus Space.

Wednesday, November 20th at 12pm ET / 9am PT will be a Workforce Development Focus Area Briefing entitled “Workforce Development Through Orbital Manufacturing Experiments”, presented by Prof. Christoph Schaal of California St. University Northridge and Prof. Keng Hsu of Arizona St. University.

Thursday, November 21st at 2pm ET / 11am PT will be a Demonstration Infrastructure Focus Area Briefing entitled “ISAM-Focused Demonstration Flight in early 2026 Seeking Payloads”, presented by Rob Schwarz of Momentus Space.

Monday, December 9th starting at 11am ET / 8am PT, COSMIC Workforce Development will host their C3 Midpoint Showcase: Flash Talks. FInal scheduling and registration information will be sent by the WD FA shortly. Contact WD-COSMIC@aero.org with any questions.

The COSMIC Government Caucus is currently scheduling their December quarterly meeting and participants were sent a tool to fill out on Monday, 11/18.

On December 11th, COSMIC’s Greg Richardson will brief the Future In-Space Operations (FISO) on COSMIC’s activities.

Joint Army-Navy-NASA-Air Force (JANNAF)

AIAA SciTech
SciTech will be held January 6-10, 2025 in Orlando, FL and feature many ISAM components while hosting numerous COSMIC members as speakers. You can find out more and register at aiaa.org/SciTech/
