COSMIC Year One: By The Numbers
The journey to robust space development is a long road. As COSMIC wraps up its first year, we’re confident that our US-based members will continue leading the way by developing cutting-edge ISAM technologies.
November 7th marks the one-year anniversary of the launch of the Consortium for Space Mobility and ISAM Capabilities (COSMIC). In this short time, an unprecedented foundation of cooperation, coordination, and collaboration has been built by members nationwide.
In just 365 days, COSMIC has:
And COSMIC members are just getting started.
In 2025, based on member feedback and increased demand, COSMIC will be revamping our membership portal to facilitate improved member-led engagement, idea sharing, and networking opportunities.
Current members will have the opportunity to get full product updates and participate in setting COSMIC’s 2025 Agenda on December 4th during the COSMIC Virtual Convergence. For more information and registration, visit https://cosmicspace.org/virtualconvergence/

More about COSMIC:
The White House issued the ISAM National Strategy (April 2022) which emphasized that a robust commercial in-space servicing, assembly, and manufacturing (ISAM) sector is needed to enable the routine mobility and ensure continued U.S. leadership in space. The NASA-sponsored Consortium for Space Mobility and ISAM Capabilities (COSMIC) brings ISAM stakeholders from government, academia, and industry together to support collaborative work on priorities enumerated in the White House’s follow-up National ISAM Implementation Plan (December 2022).
