COSMIC Convergence 2025

Participation at Convergence is restricted to COSMIC members and the deadline to join COSMIC in time to attend Convergence has passed.

RSVPs for the in person Convergence 2025 Workshop closed on May 20th, 2025 and no on-site registration will be permitted. COSMIC participants may sign up for in the virtual components on June 4th using the email address associated with their membership here.
Please note: COSMIC acknowledges the rapidly evolving guidance and review protocols regarding government career official travel and made changes that accommodate US Government participation in a manner that satisfies the guidelines and best provides opportunities to advance ISAM and national security interest collaboration between professionals in government, industry, and academia.

Convergence 2025 is the second annual COSMIC general in-person members workshop to bring together our diverse forum of users, customers, developers, regulators, and researchers to accelerate the widespread adoption of ISAM capabilities as an integrated segment of the space enterprise architecture.
Participants will collaborate in breakout sessions by Focus Area, caucuses for Industry, Government, and Academia, hear firsthand from those on the frontlines of everything from ISAM development to procurement, and enjoy numerous networking breaks.
While Convergence will be a hybrid event, only the the single-track programming on the first day will be available online.

We are honored that the Keynote Speaker for Convergence 2025 will be Dr. Roberta M Ewart, Chief Technology Officer for the Space Systems Command (SSC) at Los Angeles Space Force Base.

An esteemed leader in the field, Dr. Ewart’s leadership within Space Force includes:
- Technical oversight and continuity for SSC integrated technical reviews and assessments of programs and research, development and demonstration of technologies on-board spacecraft
- Advancing the knowledge of emerging space concepts and technologies that decrease the cost and increase Space Force capabilities through advanced systems development and demonstration
- Responsibility for planning, conducting, evaluating, and coordinating studies and developmental demonstrations in space systems with SSC and other DoD development centers and agencies such as DARPA, MDA, and NASA
- Executing industry research and development reviews and sponsors small and non-traditional companies into the SSC portfolio
- Serving as a consultant to other members of USSF for technical judgments and evaluations
Dr. Ewart’s insights and experience will provide invaluable perspectives to our community as they strive to mature their ISAM capabilities and grow partnerships.

Through Focus Area Workshops, participants will be working to make progress on the products each FA has signed up to complete this year.
The two-day workshop will include a throughline activity with Focus Areas working together on the cross-cutting Integrated Use Case activity, building upon the progress made in 2024 with the High-Value Use Cases and Value Proposition.

COSMIC Convergence will be hosted at the Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel, next to LAX Airport, with onsite parking available for an additional charge through the Sheraton.
A limited room block has been procured for $159 a night and information on booking will be provided upon attendance approval on a first come, first serve basis.
Those who book at the Sheraton have access to their airport shuttle and should not require a rental car if they are flying in.

A limited portion of the Convergence will be made available to COSMIC members to experience the first day of the program remotely, though in-person attendance to the workshop is strongly recommended.
On Wednesday, June 4th, the single-track sessions between 8:00am – 2:25pm PT will be streamed. Consortium staff will make their best effort to ensure questions and comments that are made by remote participants be reflected in the room as part of the program.
