Prior to starting Katalyst, Ghonhee Lee worked as a GNC engineer on development and flight efforts for US Navy and SCO programs. Ghonhee enjoys solving the kaleidoscope of chicken-or-egg ISAM problems at the intersection of technology, economics, and policy.
He leads Katalyst’s efforts to bring in-space upgrade products to market, leverage ISAM technologies to retrofit existing satellites with new capabilities post-launch, and design business models fit for the new space age. Katalyst has secured seed equity financing, AFWERX SBIRs & TACFIs, and non-SBIR funding from the United States Government.
Ghonhee believes the promise of new space will be a powerful driver of economic vitality that builds resilient communities across our nation.
